- Is gá do na páistí an éide scoile a chaitheamh gach lá ach amháin an lá go mbíonn spórt / corpoideachas ar siúl.
- Caitheann na páistí culaith reatha do sport agus do chorpoideachas.
- Níl na bróga “astro” oiriúnach don scoil. Scriosann siad na hurláir.
Iarrtar ort a chinntiú go bhfuil ainm an linbh ar: cóta, geansaí, mála, bosca loin & rl.
- Ar mhaithe le sábháilteacht iarrtar ar chailíní fáinní cluasa beaga (stodaí) amháin a chaitheamh.
- Ar mhaithe le sábháilteacht iarrtar ar thuistí a chinntiú nach bhfuil ingní méire ró-fhada ag páistí.

Is ga do gach páiste sciath bhéil a chaitheamh don pheil.
Cúram Gruaige
Iarrtar ar thuismitheoirí a chinntiú go ndéantar gruaig na bpáisti a sheiceáil gach lá chun míolta gruaig a sheachaint. Moltar gruaig fhada a chur i dtrilsean nó í a bheith ceangailte siar. Cuirimid téacs ag tuismitheoiri nuair atá fadhb i rang.
Lón na bPáistí
Tá polasaí bia sláintiúil i bhfeidhm sa scoil: Ceapairí; torthaí; deoch uisce.
Cosc ar deochanna coipeacha, milseáin, criospa, grán rósta & cnónna (Nutella & rl).
Cosc ar kiwi (Rang 4 amháin).
Gléas/Fóin Cliste
Tá cosc iomlán ar na fóin no gléas cliste i Scoil Chualann. Más gá do pháiste gnáthfhón a thabhairt ar scoil, tá foirm le síniú ag an bpáiste agus ag an tuismitheoir/na tuismitheoirí nó caomhnóir/caomhnóirí.
Is í an Ghaeilge teanga chumarsáide na scoile.
Tá sé riachtanach go labharfadh tuismitheoirí agus páistí Gaeilge í gcónaí sa scoil agus i dtimpeallacht na scoile.

The following are the arrangement for the 2021-2022 schoolyear:
School will re-open on Thursday 26/08/2021.
An email will be sent out when there is further information regarding returning for the next academic school year.

School will close for infant classes (Junior and Senior) at 12.00 every day from 26/08/2021 – 10/09/2021

The children must wear the school uniform every day except for P.E. days.
- Children wear tracksuits for PE days.
- Please note astro shoes are not suitable for school as they damage school floors.
Please ensure that your child’s name is on: coats, jumpers, school bag, lunch box etc.
- In the interests of safety, only stud earrings should be worn in the school.
- In the interests of safety, parents are advised to ensure that children’s nails are not too long.
NB: Sport
All children must wear a mouth guard when playing football.
Hair Care
Please check the children’s hair every day. Detection is the best method of control of head lice. September/October and January/February can be trigger times. We recommend that long hair be tied back or plaited in school. We will send a text when there is a lice problem in a class.
Children’s Lunches:
School operates a healthy eating policy: Sandwiches; fruit; drink (water).
No fizzy drinks, sweets, crisps, popcorn or nuts (including Nutella, Chocolate spread etc)
No kiwis (Fourth class only).
Smart Devices/Phones
Smart phones/devices are not allowed in Scoil Chualann. If a child has to bring a mobile phone to school, a form has to be signed by the child and by parent/parents or guardian/guardians.
Children and parents must speak Irish at all times in and around the school. This will benefit your child.
